Media Accreditation

Happy 1st September!  We are now just a little over two months away from the historic rallying event of the year, the Roger Albert Clark Rally 2010 and if you intend to apply for media accreditation, now is the time to start to consider making your application.

This year has seen a significant increase in web traffic on our own event website; on the event Facebook site and on the event Twitter blog and this traffic is creating more interest in the rally than ever before. Entries are up, spectator interest on all the internet channels is way up and so is interest from the press. Could I therefore ask please that you get your accreditation application forms in as early as possible this year.

The event starts at the Showground in Pickering with scrutineering and signing-on for competitors talking place indoors on the Friday late morning and afternoon of the rally. This is followed by a special stage in the grounds of the facility and another in nearby Dalby forest before returning to Pickering for another stage at the showground. This makes Friday a day not to miss.

Further route details have been announced (see News page here) and the event plan is is to give value for money with 20 more stage miles than last year giving a total stage mileage of 170 miles.  The Monday route has been altered from last year to give all the stage mileage north of Kielder Water.

Media signing-on will be at Pickering Showground on Friday 26th November from 1.00pm onwards. Tabards will again be available for the customary £50 (€60) deposit.
