Roger Albert Clark Rally 2010 Regulations and Entry Form Now Available

Competitors can now reserve their entries for the 2010 Roger Albert Clark Rally.

The organisers applied to the MSA to run FIA Appendix K vehicles as part of the event in their own class under the Historic Permit but unfortunately due to safety concerns by the MSA which the Organisers can appreciate, the approval to run FIA Appendix K vehicles has been refused.

Accordingly, the final version of the event Regulations is now available to download.

Competitors can enter in accordance with the draft regulations and when the regulations are finalised entrants will be given 4 weeks to withdraw their entries on a full refund if they are not happy with the final published regulations.

If you have any questions please contact Rally Manager, Colin Heppenstall on 01224 790724.

Preliminary route details have been announced (see News page here) and the event plan is is to give value for money with 20 more stage miles than last year giving a total stage mileage of 170 miles.  The Monday route has been altered from last year to give all the stage mileage north of Kielder Water.  The classic Hamsterley stage on Saturday afternoon will link the Yorkshire section to Pundershaw and will offer a six-mile stage in the forest near Bishop Auckland which was once a staple of the R.A.C. Rally in its heyday.

Rally manager Colin Heppenstall is delighted to be able to confirm the use of Hamsterley as it is ideally sited to break up the long road section from Langdale to Pundershaw, being almost exactly halfway between them.

The dates for the rally have been confirmed as 26-29 November with the start once more at Pickering showground and Saturday and Sunday nights  in Carlisle which is also the venue for the finish on Monday.
