The Roger Albert Clark Rally Archive

The Roger Albert Clark Rally is inspired by the RAC Rallies of old and from it's first running in 2004 is now well established in the historic rallying calendar.  If you want to see classic rally cars in their natural habitat then this is the event for you!  No four-wheel drive, no turbos, just good 'old-fashioned' power sliding!

We tend to forget, but back in 2004 many thought the rally would never run.  Even last year the forum was full of doubters offering their views on "will it, won't it" but year on year the event has improved.  The first year might have been the one of the epic battle between Wilson, Blomqvist and Mikkola; surely the stuff that legends are made of. but each year has had it's own moments.  What about Higgins taking the spoils in 2005? McCrae pulling it out ahead of Jeremy Easson when it all looked in the bag?  The superb run by Steve Bannister in 2007, chased all the way by Jimmy McCrae?  The spectacular driving of young Ulsterman Martin McCormack?

Everyone has their favourite moments.  Mine are the memories of the beautiful forests in Keilder through the early morning mists and the ever-present engine sounds in the distance...

The web site is in the process of reorganisation and the intention is to archive information on past "Roger Alberts" in this area.  If you want to know who ran in previous years and where they finished, then this is the staring point for that information.

Archived content. No warranty is made as to current accuracy. Content may contain URLs that were valid when originally published, but now link to sites or pages that no longer exist.

What better to evoke memories of the event than to see some of it again!
